This series about Havana comes from having traveled there in 1996 and in 2012, I became interested in photographing the realities of what was happening. The changes already taking place.

Cuba is an underdeveloped country with developed world problems like unemployment, prostitution and much more. A visit to Havana is a snapshot of what it was, buildings in disrepair, 50-year-old cars, the new restaurants with menus comparable to any big city yet the disparity in everyday life with the lower classes.
